Privacy policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything about you, and your habits are your business.
Habits with Lui is made by [Your Name], based in Oslo, Norway — so wherever this page says "we", that's who it means.
This website
habitswithlui.com is a static website. We do not use advertising, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels.
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit and use it for two things only: telling you when the app launches and, if you'd like one, an invitation to the beta. Submissions are processed by MailerLite, the email service we use to store the list and send those messages — no other third parties receive your address. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@habitswithlui.com, and once the app has launched and the list has done its job, we'll delete it ourselves.
The app (when it launches)
Habits with Lui is designed so that your habits, TO-DOs, moods, and notes stay on your device or in your personal iCloud storage. If you enable iCloud sync, your data lives in your own iCloud account under Apple's terms — we can't read it, and we couldn't peek even if we were curious.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers named on this page.
Purchases — including Lui Plus subscriptions and reward worlds — are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details.
A complete, final version of this section will be published here before the app is released, and the in-app privacy details will always match Apple's App Store privacy labels.
The beta (TestFlight)
If you try the app early through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share crash logs with us and — only when you choose to send them — your written feedback and screenshots, along with basic device information like the model and iOS version, but not your name or email. TestFlight itself is run by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since the only personal data we hold is a waitlist email address, the simplest path is to email us and we'll handle it promptly. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in Norway, that's Datatilsynet — though we'd love the chance to fix things first.
